FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway ACS and telemetry systems for electric drives of non-trailable switches. Proposed method of controlling joint between switch blade and rack bar and fit between the latter and stock rail consists in using check rack bar. Check rack bar is arranged on straight motion module together with primary rack bar. With switch blades closed, check rack bar and primary rack bar retain switch blades in one of their extreme positions. Switch blades are kept closed in case primary rack and switch blade get disengaged. With switch blades moved by primary rack bar, joint between switch blades and both rack bars is controlled. With switch blades engaged, switch blade fit to stock rail is controlled. Device to control interaction between aforementioned elements comprises drive module, straight motion module, transmission module, locking device module, switch blade control mechanisms, sleeper that doubles as a case accommodating the drive, straight motion device and locking device.
EFFECT: higher reliability of switch electric drive.
