FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: spring is heated and drawn, stretched with the pitch exceeding the pitch of finished spring heat treatment and shotblasting cold hardening is performed, pre-stressing or thermal precipitation is performed; after that or simultaneously with it plastic hardening of its coils is performed by compression of spring with axial load which is (10÷300)F3, where F3 is spring force at maximum deformation, and further application of repeated load increased proportionally to the ratio of required settlement to settlement from application of initial load. At that, loads can be vibratory.
EFFECT: improving quality of spring and recovery of its elastic properties.
