FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: anti-personnel fragmentation ammunition includes housing with two chambers, extractor, detonating cap, means of detonating mechanism, mechanism of above-ground actuation and fighting unit. Chambers of housing are connected to each other with gas outlet channel. Fighting unit consists of cylindrical fragmentation cover in the form of set of metal rings of the specified fragmentation. Set of rings is installed on thin-wall metal shell folded on annular inner groove of end rings. Height of internal groove exceeds critical thickness of explosive conversion of explosive agent, and its diametre is 0.8…0.9 of outer diametre of rings. Ignition seat of detonating means is closed with sealing plug. Above-ground actuation mechanism has housing with loosened section. Housing is made from plastic material, and external side surfaces of their chambers are connected by means of longitudinal and transverse stiffeners.

EFFECT: increasing ammunition action efficiency.
