FIELD: unitary loading ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to unitary loading ammunition, and more specifically to a caseless artillery cartridge for underbarrel grenade launchers, the fragmentation warhead of which is made of ring elements. The proposed shot for an underbarrel grenade launcher includes a head fuse placed inside a composite case containing annular elements of a given crushing made of heavy alloy resting on the protrusion of the bottom of the case, externally equipped with evenly distributed radial corrugations 2/3 of the thickness of the rings and longitudinally pressed with a threaded nut, bursting charge, a chamber of a composite case pressed into a thin-walled inset cup of a congruent shape, and a combustion chamber of a propellant charge initiated by a central igniter primer fixed in the end diaphragm, integrally connected to the bottom of the case. In this case, the radial corrugations of the ring elements have a symmetrical wedge-shaped profile with an angle of 15…45° and a rounded corner of the wedge with a radius of 0.1…0.3 of their depth. The outer cylindrical wall of the composite body and its bottom are made in the form of a monolithic cup, inside the threaded point of which a threaded nut and a rounded head fuse are simultaneously screwed.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the fragmentation action and the functional reliability of the ammunition with a simpler and more technologically advanced design.
