FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: clamping device (1) consists of appliance (2) for item fixation and of executor (27). Appliance (2) for item clamping has at least two clamping cams (4, 5) to fix a part, while executor (27) is designed for opening and/or closing clamping cams (4, 5). By means of executor (27) clamping cams (4, 5) can deviate due to elastic properties of material so, as to facilitate fixation of the part owing to elastic return force of clamping cams (4, 5) upon release of executor (27). Preferably, appliance (2) for item clamping has main case (3) equipped with spline (6), also, spline (6) on both sides is restricted with clamping cams (4, 5). Clamping cams (4, 5) can deviate to spline (6) in cross direction by means of executor (27) due to elastic properties of material. Clamping cams (4, 5) are equipped with pads (13, 14), which can move relative to corresponding clamping cam (4, 5) across spline (6).
