FIELD: machine engineering, fittings for metal cutting machine tools.
SUBSTANCE: clamping device includes clamping chuck with central opening for mounting stem; mechanism for fixing stem. In central opening of chuck there is cone-like narrowed inlet portion. In order to improve accuracy due to lowered contamination of centering surfaces, stem has several open portions of centering surface for centering stem in cone-like narrowed inlet portion of clamping chuck in X and(or) Y direction. Openings corresponding to open portions of centering surfaces of stem and providing gas discharge for cleaning them are made on inlet portion of clamping chuck.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of clamping.
