FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil production industry, particularly to compositions for enhancing oil recovery of low-temperature formations by insulating and preventing flow of water to oil wells. In the method of preparing an oil recovery enhancement composition which contains an aluminium salt, carbamide, urotropin and water by mixing its components, the composition additionally contains polyvinyl alcohol PVC and boric acid. Mixing is carried out with two solutions prepared beforehand - solution of PVC in water and a solution of the rest of the components in water with concentration twice higher than required, the obtained solutions are mixed in weight ratio of 1:1, with the following ratio of components, wt %: aluminium salt (in terms of anhydrous salt) 2.0-8.0, carbamide 4.0-16.0, urotropin 2.0-8.0; PVC 3.0-5.0, boric acid 0.5-1.0, water - the rest. The oil recovery enhancing composition is characterised by that it is prepared using said method.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the oil recovery enhancement composition with low formation temperature due to improvement of structural-mechanical properties, low synaeresis and improvement of filtration characteristics of gel which forms the water insulating screen.
