FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to compositions of grey iron and can be used for production of gas fire rings. Proposed grey iron contains, in wt %: carbon - 2.6-3.0; silicon - 2.6-2.9; manganese - 1.1-1.3; copper - 1.9-2.3; chromium - 1.0-1.5; beryllium - 0.007-0.009; cobalt - 1.0-1.5; boron - 0.12-0.16; iron making the rest.
EFFECT: increased heat resistance.
