SUBSTANCE: cast-iron contains the following, wt %: carbon 2.6-3.0, silicon 2.6-3.0, manganese 0.2-0.3; copper 0.3-0.4; chrome 0.1-0.2; beryllium 0.01-0.016; tantalum 0.9-1.3; tungsten 0.3-0.4; iron is the rest.
EFFECT: increasing cast-iron thermal resistance.
