FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: muffler-scrubber of internal combustion engine exhaust gases includes the case 1, in the upper part of which there is a cover with installed exhaust pipe 4 and inlet channel 2, in which there is tangentially located inlet pipe 3. In the lower part of the case there located are reflector 12, sludge pan 13 and discharge unit with a plug 14. In the case above the reflector 12 there is absorbing unit that contains removable container with absorbing material. Absorbing material is arranged on the grills of removable container by separate layers with the possibility of absorbing specified hazardous fractions by corresponding layers. The supports divide the grills by sections in which there kept are absorbing material layers of different height not shifted during the movement.

EFFECT: invention increases muffler-scrubber service life, improves the efficiency of gas scrubbing and noise elimination that is produced by exhaust gases.
