FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electrical engineering, namely to direct current electric machines, for example, motor-and-tractor starters. Starter drive for vehicle engine starting includes housing, armature (2) shaft (1), nut (4), pinion gear (5), carrier (7) and nut brake mechanism. Shaft (1) is performed with flat thread with lead angle 12-20°. There is a nut (4) on a thread. Nut (4) is performed coaxial and integrated with pinion gear (5). The carrier (7) is fixed at the end of armature shaft by key. Pinion gear (5) and carrier (7) have ledges (6, 9) correspondingly. The ledges (6, 9) are installed in such a way that during the entering of pinion gear teeth into flywheel (17) crown teeth the carrier ledge (9) captures pinion gear ledge (6). Nut brake mechanism provides its deceleration ensured by the magnets (10, 11) with residual magnetic induction not less than 0.4 tesla. The magnets (10, 11) are located close to each other and fixed at nut (4) and electric machine housing (12) cover.
EFFECT: structure simplification of motor-and-tractor starter drive switching device and improvement of its safety during on/off switching mode.
