FIELD: physics, radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in airspace control systems using direct signals and signals reflected from aerial objects, emitted by multiple uncontrolled and controlled transmitters of radio-electronic systems for different purposes. The technical result is achieved due to additional information extracted through identification and picking up a subset of energy-efficient signals reflected from detected aerial objects from a set of received signals and using the picked up subset of signals for selective search, spatial tracking and identification of the type of a wide range of aerial objects.
EFFECT: high efficiency (information content, accuracy and computing efficiency) of searching, spatial tracking and identification of the type of a wide range of aerial objects with one detection-direction finding station under conditions of prior uncertainty of the shape, size and reflecting properties of objects.
