FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless power transmission and may be used for power supply of trolleybuses, trams, electric locomotives and other electric transport facilities. In compliance with proposed method, electric power is transmitted to consumer current collectors on 0.1-1000 kHz at line voltage of 0.1-1000 kV via air gap between two conducting and shielded plates of air capacitor. One said plate is a radiating plate connected to shielded isolated one-wire line. Capacitance of isolated one-wire line shield is compensated on resonance frequency f0 by connecting inductance to said shield and to ground. Receiving plate receives radiation and is built in consumer current collector and connected via resonance circuit, rectifier and charging device with electric load. Proposed device comprises power supply connected with frequency converter and resonance step-up transformer, one-wire shielded line connected with air capacitor radiating plate. Capacitor receiving plate is arranged above radiating plate. Receiving plate is connected to step-down resonance transformer with its low-voltage winding connected to rectifier and charging device.

EFFECT: efficient wireless electric power transmission.
