FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of forestry and is intended for choker skidding of timber. Skidding choker comprises section of steel rope, at one of ends of which a circular eye is fixed, and on the other - a choker lock, having C-shaped body with inclined ends covering each other. Circular eye and lock are equipped with flat plates with holes for pulling through and fixing of rope ends welded to ring and body of lock at external sides. Working sections of circular eye and lock exposed to intensive wear in process of operation, each equipped accordingly with two additional semi-rings and hooks welded to lateral sides.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase reliability, to simplify design, process of manufacturing and assembly, and also to increase service life of choker.
