FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: skidder choker contains strap on one of ends of which eye in the form of ring with lock is fixed, on other end a cage with hole for cable is fixed. Between them, welded movable looping link is located. The link is of piece of circular rod with hole for cable and with shaped hole for bayonet connection. Ring working section interacting with pulling cable is provided with two semi-rings welded to lateral sides of this section. The lock is made as plate with slot for passing through two branches of steel rope and with holes for screw chuck and is welded to outer surface of other half of ring. Movable link is made as closed eight welded connection of which is located in the area of closing section and is executed at its both diametrically opposite sides. The cage has stepped hole, and free end of steel rope has simple stopper hitch tightly pulled into cage hole.
EFFECT: higher operational reliability of choker and simplification of its design.
