FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a diene elastomer. Present invention particularly relates to production of polybutadiene with high content of cis-1,4 bonds, simultaneously having Mooney viscosity ML(1+4) equal to or greater than 40, heterogeneity index less than 2.1 and low cold flow, as well as polyisoprene. The method involves a polymerisation reaction in a solution or mass, continuous or periodical with a catalyst system, where the catalyst system is based on at least one conjugated diene; one phosphoric acid organic salt of one or more rare-earth metals, where the said salt is in a suspension or at least in one saturated or aliphatic or alicyclic and inert solvent based on hydrocarbons; one alkylating agent consisting of alkylaluminium of formula AlR3 or HAlR2, and a halogen donor belonging to the family of alkylaluminium halides, except alkylaluminium sesquihalides. Said method includes a separate alkylaluminium compound of formula AlR3 or HAlR2, which is identical or not identical to the alkylating agent of the said catalyst system, and is not added at the same time as the catalyst system into the industrial polymerisation installation and the molar ratio alkylaluminium compound/alkylating agent ranges from 0.05 to 3.
EFFECT: flexible controlled polymerisation process, avoiding fluctuation of content of contaminants, minimisation of spread of characteristics of obtained elastomers.
