SUBSTANCE: silencer contains cylindrical pedestal rigidly connected to inlet and outlet branch pipes. On pedestal there fixed is sound-absorbing unit consisting of separate in-series connected sections, each of which is lined with sound-absorbing construction made in the form of cylindrical perforated coaxial external and internal covers between which sound absorber is located, which is made at least of one shaped porous plate; at that, the plate profile can be triangular, rectangular, trapezoidal, in the form of circular arcs, sinusoidal; at that, between shells of sound-absorbing unit and perforated covers there provided is radial gap.

EFFECT: higher noise control efficiency.
