SUBSTANCE: lens has at least four groups of lenses configured to move when changing the focal distance. The first, third and fourth groups of lenses have positive optical power. The second group of lenses has negative optical power. The following relationships are satisfied: 0.7 < (β2t · β3w) / (β2w · β3t) < 1-0, 4.8 < β3t / β3w < 6.6, where β2w and β2t are lateral magnification of the second group in the wide-angle and long-focus position, respectively; β3w and β2t are lateral magnification of the third group in the wide-angle and long-focus position.
EFFECT: wide range of focal distances and improved aberration correction owing to more rational distribution of magnifications and the magnification range between groups of lenses.
