FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grading of powders and may be used in powder metallurgy, electronics engineering, nuclear power engineering etc. Proposed method comprises feeding the particles into vacuum for grading, driving them to translate in electric and magnetic fields, deviating them by gravity depending upon size and weight towards direction into different bins. Powder is preloaded into holler, aggregates are destructed in disintegration assembly, separated into separated particles and proportioned into classifier plasma along classifier lengthwise axis by magnetic field frozen in plasma. Then, classified particle are withdrawn from bins and fed into collectors without deteriorating vacuum in the device.
EFFECT: higher quality of finished product due to accurate grading.
