FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: ethylene unsaturated compounds undergo electrochemical fluoroalkylation with a fluorine-containing acid in acetonitrile solution. Partially neutralised fluoro-acid undergoes electrolysis by not more than 10 wt % at temperature 110°C, with anode current density between 45 and 160 mA/cm2 and with molar ratio of acetonitrile to water not less than 150:1. The disclosed method can employ a glass-carbon electrode with molar ratio of olefin to fluoro-acid equal to 0.8-1.5:1, or a platinum anode with molar ratio of olefin to fluoro-acid equal to 2-3:1.
EFFECT: high output of fluoroalkylation products and utilisation of fluoro-acid owing to reduction of neutralisation percentage thereof.
