FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves separation of ingredients excluded from consumption. Separation proceeds in such a way that in a certain quantity of food products a minimised remainder is allowed and provided for further treatment of the food products. The automatic control device is adjusted to detect a minimised allowable remainder with the food products having passed inspection and, accordingly, containing or failing to contain the allowable remainder are separated from each other. In the device for the method implementation a separator, equipped with at least one separating tool, is adjusted so that at least a certain quantity of food products contains a minimised allowable remainder of at least one type for further treatment of the food products.
EFFECT: invention enables detection and removal of undesirable remains present in food products during handling.
