FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: fluids in gap between rotor and stator are heated under mode of self-oscillations. The beginning of self-oscillating mode is determined from experimental dependence: BT=2·np·h2·Z·v-1, where BT is ratio of criteria of Reynolds (Re) and Stroukchal (Str); BT≥8600; np is rotor rotation frequency, s-1; h is depth of orifices on the rotor (value of a gap between the stator and rotor), m; Z is number of orifices on the rotor; v is kinematic viscosity of processed medium, m2/sec and is controlled by a value of drop of power consumed by the unit (at 20-30 % at an average). Varying depth of orifices on the rotor there is controlled process of heating at change of viscosity of processed fluid.
EFFECT: reduced time of heating at simultaneous reduction of consumed power.
