FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: pyrotechnic igniter of burning mixture includes pyrotechnic composition arranged in the housing non-destructed with combustion products of the composition and made in the form of shell with ignition hole in the housing bottom covered with destructible plug and open edge covered with the tamping plug pressing the pyrotechnic composition to the housing bottom. Housing has the possibility of being installed in the cavity between cover with burning mixture and jet engine, which is connected through orifice hole to cavity of jet engine and through delivery orifice to cavity of cover with burning mixture. Housing is installed with possibility of forced longitudinal movement to cover with burning mixture on elastic supports in the form of plastic discs with installation seats for the housing, which are equipped with axial holes. Bottoms of seats are convex towards the housing. Through holes are made in supports around seats, and through slots are made in bottoms of seats and in their walls enclosing the housing.

EFFECT: improving ignition stability and intensity of burning mixture, decreasing the weight of pyrotechnic composition, which is required for stable ignition of burning mixture.
