FIELD: weaponry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weapons, namely hand smoke grenades. A hand-held smoke grenade contains an ignition device and a body with a smoke-forming composition of a smoking or instantaneous principle of action. The body has two separate sections connected by a perforated partition with a check valve in the form of a flat ring pressed against the partition. One of the sections contains a smoking smoke composition. The other section contains cassettes of the instantaneous principle of action, made in the form of a hollow cylinder from radially arranged flat smoke-generating pyroelements, the outer part of which is turned to the tangent of the outer diameter. The cassettes are installed in series on the powder gas generator, press the check valve ring and are oriented in pairs towards each other relative to the direction of rotation of the pyroelements. The powder gas generator is an element of the fire chain and provides pyrotechnical connection of the ignition device with the body sections, destruction of the body shell, ignition and dispersion of smoke-generating pyroelements.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of setting up a smoke screen by increasing the density of the aerosol and increasing the duration of masking.
