FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing images on drink can cover. Printed image 120 is applied onto film component that has first and second areas to be cut. Film component 100 with printed image applied thereon is placed on cover 136 of can for drink with opening component 134 in the form of ear and loosed zone 131. First area to be cut is located under aforesaid ear, while printed image is located above can cover and ear. Film element 100 is secured to loosen zone 131 of drink can cover to allow uplifting open component 134 together with first cut section 114. Second cut section 116 and portion of loosen zone 131 are pressed through can cover 136.
EFFECT: simplified application of image or text.
