FIELD: gas-and-oil producing industry.
SUBSTANCE: to eliminate cross-feeds water different by its composition from reservoir water is pumped via production well into interval of first reservoir. Fluid from the interval of the second reservoir is withdrawn in the same well. Composition of water produced from the second reservoir is controlled. Presence of cross-feeds is determined by changed composition of water produced from the second reservoir. Amount of packing material required for isolation of cross-feeds is determined by volume of water pumped into the first reservoir. Packing material is pumped into the first reservoir and simultaneously reservoir fluids from the second reservoir are withdrawn. According to the procedure packing material is conditioned for stiffening and maturing. Operation of the well is resumed.
EFFECT: increased reliability at detection of cross-feeds and detection of packing material volume.
