FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used in the study of oil and gas formations in order to reduce water cut of the product and increase flow rate. Disclosed is a method for studying formations, in which wells with high water content of products are selected for research, performing alternate installation of at least six nozzles of different diameter from larger to smaller for carrying out hydrodynamic study by method of steady-state pumping in injection well, closing pressure of auto-hydraulic fracture is determined based on analysis of indicator diagram, one type of tracer added to the displacement agent is pumped into the injection well at a pressure higher than the auto-hydraulic fracture closure pressure, concentration of the tracer on the watered production well is recorded and the presence of a hydrodynamic connection between the injection and production wells is determined along the auto-hydraulic fracture, then orientation and volume of auto-hydraulic fracture are determined and measures are taken to limit conductivity of auto-hydraulic fracture and elimination of displacement agent breakthroughs into production well. At that, fracture volume is calculated using the value of fracture closure pressure of auto-hydraulic fracture. Thus, the proposed method increases efficiency of oil displacement due to increased information content of tracer studies.
EFFECT: increased information value of tracer studies and reduced time of their performance, as well as reduced watering of production wells, increased efficiency of oil displacement and maintenance of formation pressure.
