FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of a signal in each altitude and direction control channel, generation of missile control commands, generation of signal for controlling the missile with steering parts in altitude and direction control channels. The missile control commands are converted in proportion to deviation of the missile from a given guide line in the current missile guidance time. The radius vector formed by control commands turns by an angle which is proportional to the current area of the sector described in the plane of the measured missile deviation by the radius vector formed by signals for deviation of the missile from the given guidance line in altitude and direction control channels, from its position at the beginning of generation of missile deviation signals. The sign of the turning angle of the control command vector is determined in accordance with the sign of the increment of the area of the said sector taking into account the current direction of rotation of the radius vector formed by deviation signals of the missile from the given guidance line.

EFFECT: high accuracy of guiding a missile owing to compensation for phase coupling of its control channels.
