FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry and may be used to fight and prevent propagation of forest ground fires. Method for development and reconstruction of fire-prevention mineralised strip includes simultaneous formation of several parallel furrows with preservation of undamaged strip of soil between them and with transverse disposal of soil taken out of each furrow relative to direction of furrows cutting. Besides, width of undamaged strip of soil is not less than furrow width, and soil extracted from each furrow is arranged on surface of undamaged strip of soil cover into one and the same side relative to direction of furrows cutting. Each subsequent reconstruction of mineralised strips is carried out by the same device, but by changing direction of furrows cutting to the opposite one and every time with displacement by width of furrow towards soil dumps.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to simplify process of development and reconstruction of fire-prevention mineralised strip, and also to reduce assortment of used equipment.
