FIELD: fire-fighting means.
SUBSTANCE: in a powder fire extinguisher comprising a cylindrical body with injected gas, e.g. nitrogen or CO2 and provided at its top with a lock starter having an indicator and an upper handle, and coupled with a bell-ended hosepipe enabling to interrupt and reactivate fire extinguishing agent supply to a siphon pipe coupled with a valve of the lock starter, an in-built perforated element axial-symmetric to the body. A diametre of the perforated element in a connection to the siphon tube matches with its diametre. The perforated element represents a converging cone or a threaded cylindrical tube and performs extinguishing mixture vortex formation. A hole of the converging cone turned to a bottom is distant from it at a distance not less of a diametre of said hole, and a hole of the threaded cylindrical tube turned to the bottom of the body is distant from it at a distance not less of three diametres of said hole.
EFFECT: more effective fire extinguishing.
