FIELD: gas-and-oil producing industry.

SUBSTANCE: controller consists of hollow curved shaft with external splines and thread on its ends, and of tooth clutch with internal lengthwise spline slots and teeth on end, also, clutch is arranged on external lengthwise splines of hollow curved shaft. Further, the controller consists of straight and curved non-axial subs. On the end of the curved sub there are made teeth engaging the teeth on the end of the tooth clutch. The straight and curved subs are connected with the hollow curved shaft by means of threads on edges facing each other. Central lengthwise axes of thread made on curved sections of the hollow curved shaft and curved sub cross in one point on central lengthwise axis of the hollow curved shaft and have one plane of curvature. The cross point of central lengthwise axis of a threaded section of the curved sub, designed for connection with a spindle of the downhole motor, and of central lengthwise axis of a threaded section of the hollow curved shaft, connecting it with the straight, is located in a cross plane of joint of end teeth of the tooth clutch and the curved sub. Plane of teeth ends of the tooth clutch is arranged at right angle relative to central lengthwise axis of the curved threaded part of the hollow curved shaft designed for connection with the curved threaded part of the curved sub, while plane of the ends of teeth of the curved sub is arranged at right angle relative to central lengthwise axis of its curved threaded section designed for connection with the curved threaded part of the hollow curved shaft.

EFFECT: upgraded accuracy of setting twist angles; simplification of calculation of regulator twist, also upgraded accuracy of directional well driving.
