SUBSTANCE: root mean square amplitude modulation index, root mean square phase deviation and root mean square frequency deviation of the total voltage of the signal and noise are measured. The signal-to-noise ratio is calculated from the measurement results.
EFFECT: simple hardware implementation and measurement method, exclusion of measurement errors associated with these operations.
