SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition of a ceramic mixture for making tiles, which can be used in covering floors of manufacturing and commercial premises, metro stations and railway stations. The ceramic mixture for making tiles contains the following in wt %: refractory clay 5.0-10.0, metallurgical slag 40.0-45.0, bentonite 45.0-55.0.
EFFECT: high wear-resistance of tiles made from said ceramic mixture.
