FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glase compositions for applying on ceramic tiles and bricks. The glase contains glass or frit, kaolin and metallurgical slag. The metallurgical slag is selected from blast-furnace slag, slag from nickel production and titanium slag. The glass or frit has the following composition in wt %: SiO2 45.0-55.0; B2O3 45.0-55.0.
EFFECT: use of said composition for making glase lowers burning temperature of the glaze.
