FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: unit of turbine blades consists of blades arranged with gap between flanges of neighbour blades and packing closing gap between flanges of two neighbour blades. The flanges have slots on circumferential sides facing neighbour blades. The blades have cavities of shank ends, while the packing covers at least whole length of cavities of shank ends of two neighbour blades. The packing is made out of a strip of flexible spring material and is positioned in two opposite slots made in each flange of two neighbour blades. The slots are closed in the direction to an upper end upstream to retain the packing and are open in the direction to a lower end of the blade downstream to facilitate insertion of the packing. Another invention of the group refers to a gas turbine containing the above said unit of the turbine blades. One more invention refers to the procedure for assembly of turbine blades including blades arranged on a disk and packing arranged on flanges of the blades to cover slots between the flanges of neighbour blades. According to this procedure all blades of the turbine are positioned on the disk of the turbine before packing is installed between flanges of neighbour blades of the turbine. The packing is made out of flexible spring material, while the slots are closed in the direction to an upper end upstream to retain the packing and are open in the direction to a lower end of the blade downstream to facilitate insertion of the packing.

EFFECT: increased reliability of packing between flanges of neighbour blades and reduced labour input at assembly of blades and packing on disk of turbine.
