FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to deaeration devices for fuel filtration systems. Proposed system comprises housing to accommodate fuel filtration element, fuel inlet and outlet, and deaeration valve. Said valve has inlet at its bottom surface to communicate with the housing, outlet at its top surface, and ball with relatively higher density than that of fuel in fuel system. Valve inlet is communicated with the housing. Fuel is fed into system to create air pressure difference on the ball to lift the latter between top and bottom surface to open the valve for air to flow from housing via inlet. Fuel is fed in housing unless nonfiltered fuel enters the valve. Here, the ball closed the valve by sealing valve outlet at top surface in response to pressure difference on ball.
EFFECT: simplified servicing, higher efficiency, reduced contamination of filtered fuel, no ingress of air into ejector channel.
