FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method includes working and washing of sediments with a hydraulic dredger into a dump arranged in a near-bed zone and fenced with banking dams along the whole perimetre. Sediments are initially washed into banked furrows, which are previously arranged by working and displacement of a fertile soil layer into reserves arranged between furrows, and on external borders of the dump. Then sediments are washed into banked intermediate furrows arranged by working of reserves and an underlying soil layer with their displacement to a washed surface and to sections of outer dump borders. Besides, arrangement of intermediate furrows and planning of the dump surface with formation of a soil layer are carried out after consolidation of washed sediments.

EFFECT: preservation of a soil layer on the surface of the sediment dump and reduction of costs, this providing for elimination of agricultural lands rejection in the near-bed zone and increased efficiency of production of works for cleaning of canals and waterways from sediments.
