FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: cutting blade for ice borer includes housing with attachment holes, cutting planes and cutting edges. Cutting blade is made in the form of solid shape formed with three planes crossing each other at blunt angles and forming an undercut on lower side of blade. On the first plane there are holes to attach the blade to ice borer. On two planes adjacent in inclined manner there is cutting plane with cutting edge, which is parallel to the first plane. Cutting plane is made at the distance equal to thickness of the first plane plus 4-10 mm.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability.
