FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal cutting, namely, to chips crushing devices. Lathe support feed change gear train comprises drive and driven gear wheels. Drive gear wheel is thinned by removing a portion of teeth to allow intermittent support feed for chip crushing. Spacing on centers between drive and driven gear wheels is increased by 0.6-0.8 pitch.
EFFECT: uninterrupted drilling.
