WELDING RECTIFIER Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC B23K9/10

Abstract RU 2416502 C1

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding rectifiers and may be used as DC source for mechanised welding in protective gas atmosphere. First secondary start 4 and second secondary end 5 of first transformer 1 are connected to first output of throttle 6. Second output of throttle 6 is connected to output terminal 7 of positive polarity. First secondary 4 of first transformer 1 has tap connected to end of first secondary 8 of second transformer 2. Gates 18 and 19 are integrated into second output terminal 20 of negative polarity. Second secondary 4 of first transformer 1 has tap connected to end of second secondary 9 of second transformer 2. Start of second secondary 8 of second transformer 2 is connected to cathode of gate 10 while end of second secondary 9 is connected to cathode of gate 11. End of first secondary 4 of transformer 1 is connected to connection point of the start of third secondary 12 and end of fourth secondary 13 of second transformer 2. Start of secondary 5 of transformer 1 is connected to connection point of end of fifth secondary 14 and start of sixth secondary 15 of second transformer 2. End of third secondary 12 of second transformer 2 is connected to cathode of gate 16 Start of fifth secondary 14 of second transformer 2 is connected to cathode of gate 17. Start of fourth secondary 13 of second transformer 2 is connected to cathode of controlled gate 18. End of sixth secondary 15 of second transformer 2 is connected to cathode of controlled gate 19.

EFFECT: smooth adjustment of output voltage with simultaneous reduction of rectified voltage and current, lower costs.
