FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed system comprises speed controller 2 connected with cutter drive motor 1 and workpiece feed motor 11. Speed controller is made up of pi-regulator. Summed voltage is fed from speed setter 12 to pi-regulator input via current negative feedback loop. Said feed back is made up of gang of current transformers 3, 4, 5, rectifier bridge 6, potentiometer 7, stabiliser diode 8 and output voltage limiter unit 9. Frequency control signals for frequency converter 10 make output signals of said regulator.

EFFECT: varying feed rate subject to cutter load, higher efficiency and reliability.
