FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: universal valve consists of spherical shut off element in form of ball (8), of valve seat (5) and spring (10) installed in hollow cylinder case (1). Shut off element in form of ball (8) is installed in valve unit (2). Valve unit (2) is compressed with threaded bushing (3) and slides in a through opening of the threaded bushing and the case along vertical axis. Radial through uniformly arranged orifices are made in case (4) of valve unit (2). In initial position a low end of the threaded bushing is located below orifices with guaranteed overlap. When ball (8) is in uppermost position the said orifices connect a cavity above the valve unit and a cavity below the valve unit.

EFFECT: protection of valve from liquid column pressure at operation under working and idle modes; facilitation of periodic flow of special solution in reverse direction under flushing mode.
