SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for producing ozone from air and can be widely used in different engineering fields for deodorising or sterilising air in buildings, for local air ozonation in hard-to-reach places, in vegetable stores when storing or preserving fruits and vegetables, for sterilising, treating wounds in medicine, for stimulating spring development of honey-bee colonies and preventing and treating bee diseases etc. The electroozoniser, which has in an ozone-resistant common housing a power supply unit, a high-voltage power supply, is also fitted with a plate-type discharge device with double-sided arrangement of rectangular shaped aluminium electrodes with rounded edges, which is placed in a sealed housing, connected by a flexible ozone-resistant air duct with a piston-type microcompressor which is connected to the output of the power supply. The radius of the rounded edge of the electrode R and the voltage U across the discharge device satisfy the relationship

EFFECT: high efficiency, low power consumption and weight and size characteristics, possibility of local ozonation of air in hard-to-reach places and high reliability.
