SUBSTANCE: device comprises the primary winding of a transformer connected to higher frequency voltage source, and its secondary winding includes the middle point. Besides, the origin of the second winding is connected to the input of the first and second antiparallel connected thyristors, output of which via an output filter is connected to the first output clamp of the converter. The end of the second transformer winding is connected to the origin of the third and fourth antiparallel connected thyristors, the output of which is connected to the output of the first and second antiparallel connected thyristors. The middle point of the secondary winding of the transformer via the output filter is connected to the second output clamp of the converter. Besides, a system of the converter control, which comprises a synchronisation unit, a sawtooth voltage generator, a transformer-rectifier unit, a pulse shaper, a driving oscillator, a generator of curve type, the first and second logical AND elements, the first and second pulse distributors, the first, second, third and fourth pulse amplifiers.
