FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of equipment and processes for production of mechanical rubber goods, particularly, cylinders of air clutches. Major part of cylinder protector inner surface and fastening holes are moulded using operated pads of air clutches secured in the mould. For this, radial trapezoid-section ledges are secured to mandrel outer cylindrical surface. Note here that the number of radial ledges equals that of operated pads.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and quality of attachment of operated pads, longer life of air clutch.
