FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of composite explosive substances and specifically to powerful blasting explosives with high specific characteristics of cumulative charge for different purposes, for example, used in oil and gas production. The disclosed composition of composite blasting explosive contains main filler, binder, phlegmatizing agent and plasticiser, where the main explosive filler is 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexa-azatetracyclo(5,5,0,0,3,11,0,5,9)dodecane (hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane, HAW) 8-modifications with specific surface area of crystals between 500 and 1500 cm2/g in amount of 96-98 wt %, the binder is polymethylacrylate - 0.8-1.6 wt %, the phlegmatising agent is oxyzine or analogue thereof with melting point of approximately 60°C - 0.6-2.0 wt % and the plasticiser - graphite makes up the rest of the amount. The method of preparing the disclosed composition involves preparation of an aqueous suspension of components of the explosive with subsequent deposition of the granulated powder with uniform volume distribution of components, thermal pressing of the obtained mass at temperature 90-120°C for not more than 4 hours at pressure which corresponds to obtaining pressing coefficient of 0.97-0.99 in the ready mass of the composite explosive substance.
EFFECT: invention increases power of the explosive substance, rate of detonation and physical strength, minimal sensitivity to mechanical and shock action, as well as stabilisation of the polymorphous ε-modification of the explosive filler and lowers the risk of its transition into the γ-modification during thermal processing and attaining maximum pressing coefficients in the formed charge.
