FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method relates to systems intended for controlling fuel feed and jet nozzle operation. Test bench us used to determine high- and low-pressure rotor rpm along with compressor stability margin so that to allow generation of engine control signals proceeding from test results. With engine run in conditions of compressor stability margin falling beyond tolerances and engine control lever below the stop that correspond to engine maximum operating conditions, engine control system generates signal for actuators to increase jet nozzle critical section to required stability margin of compressor. And, with engine control lever in position on stops corresponding to maximum and afterburner conditions, engine control system ups pressure difference at turbines to reach required compressor stability margin.
EFFECT: maximum efficiency due to local Fcr and πt* variation in rotor rpm range with stability margin below tolerances.
