FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for checking air-tightness of spacecraft structural components is fitted with a satellite modem and a signal generating device. The satellite modem, signal generating device and ion receivers are placed in a single housing, where the input of the ion receiver is connected to the signal generating device, the output of which is connected to the input of the satellite modem which is connected to an antenna. The device is fitted with a focusing grid which is attached to the housing, and apparatus for ionising a stream of gas particles, which is attached to the housing on the side of the focusing grid.
EFFECT: large area for inspection using the device.
