SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, particularly intended for recording micrometeoroids and ionosphere charged particles. Essence of invention consists in the fact that device for control of tightness of elements of structure of spacecraft additionally comprises devices for ionisation of flow of gas particles, equipped with device of two-coordinate movement, installed with possibility of formation of flow of ionizing particles in specified direction, wherein said device incorporates piezotransducer to be used as module to initiate main cycle of device operation algorithm.

EFFECT: high reliability and information value of the leak detection method and determination of coordinates of the breakdown point.
