The device for playing back data obtained by capturing at multiple angles includes a readable device which reads audio-video data from the data carrier, and a playback unit which plays back data read by the reading device, by searching for and playing back clips corresponding to the read data, where the read data are data for capturing at multiple angles, and when an instruction comes in for switching to another angle by playing back clips for another angle, starting with the transition point of the clip for the other angle.
EFFECT: method of playing back data obtained by capturing at multiple angles, while maintaining continuity even when changing the angle, and a data carrier on which the data are recorded.
